Letโ€™s get started on these hot mess cocktails!ย

Long Islandย

The long island is probably one of the most popular among the 4 originals. It is a good tasting cocktail that does the job. Truly, it tastes a lot like a classic sweetened iced tea with some citrus flavors from the sour mix and triple sec. In addition, the splash of coke at the end is like the bow on the present box.ย

First, grab your preferred tall glass. Join all the equal parts of vodka, gin, rum, and triple sec. Fill your glass with sour mix and top it off with a coke float with a lemon garnish.

  • Vodka 1/2 oz
  • Gin 1/2 oz
  • ย Rum 1/2 oz
  • Triple Secย ยฝ oz
  • Sour Mix
  • Coke

Long Beachย

This cocktail is quite similar to the Long Island, however, the one difference that changes everything is the splash of cranberry juice instead of coke. This beverage has more of a refreshing tangy taste due to the cranberry juice. Granted, the cran juice is also what gives this beverage itโ€™s reddish hue.

Grab your tall glass and fill it up with ice. Pour all the equal parts of vodka, gin, rum, and triple sec. Fill up the remaining of your glass with sour mix. Finish up by topping it off with your favorite cranberry juice and a lemon wedge garnish.

  • Vodka:ย Half ounce
  • Gin:ย Half ounce
  • Rum:ย Half ounce
  • Triple Sec:ย Half ounce
  • Sour Mix
  • Cranberry Juice

Adios, MFย

This beverage is a deliciously fucked up drink. Anybody can distinguish this cocktail by its color. As seen by its bright blue hue, it is produced by the liqueur, Blue Curacao. Despite this peaceful color, do not get misled because it will mess you up when you least expect it. Moreover, this beverage contains a sweet citrus flavor from the mixture of the orange liqueur, sour mix, and lemon lime soda.

Top up your glass with ice to the top. Pour all the equal parts of vodka, gin, rum, tequila and Blue Curacao. Fulfil your glass with sour mix. And lastly, top it off with a lemon lime soda and a lemon wedge garnish or cherry.

  • Vodka:ย Half ounceย
  • Gin:ย Half ounceย
  • Rum:ย Half ounceย
  • Tequila:ย Half ounce
  • Blue Curacao:ย Half ounceย
  • Sour Mix
  • Lemon Lime Soda

Tokyo

The vibrant green beverage is Known as Tokyo Tea. Of course the color comes from the melon liqueur known as Midori. Not only does the Midori dominate in color, but also, dominates all the flavors in this beverage. It is quite a nice twist among the iced tea cocktails and definitely worth a try.ย

Stack your glass with ice. Add all the equal parts of vodka, gin, rum, triple sec, and melon liqueur. Fill up your glass with sour mix. To finish up, top it off with lemon lime soda and a lemon wedge garnish and/or a cherry.

  • Vodka:ย Half ounceย
  • Gin:ย Half ounceย
  • Rum:ย Half ounceย
  • Triple Sec:ย Half ounce
  • Melon Liqueur (Midori):ย Half ounce

Party Shakers Specialย

The party shakers special in particular is exclusively made up by us. Notably, it is inspired by the OG 4 Iced Tea cocktails. This so-called tea was a surprise while trying it for the first time. However, it was actually very delicious. It has a tropical twist coming from the pineapple juice and all the citrus flavors. Additionally, the peach schnapps gives it a sweetness balance and complements all the fruity flavors in this beverage.

Pack your favorite tall glass with ice. Secondly, add all the equal parts of vodka, gin, rum, and Peach Schnapps. Fill your glass with sour mix. Top it off with a pineapple juice and a lemon lime soda with a lemon wedge garnish.

  • Vodka:ย Half ounceย
  • Gin:ย Half ounceย
  • Rum:ย Half ounceย
  • Peach Schnapps: Half ounceย
  • Sour Mixย
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Lemon Lime Soda

Conclusion

As seen from the Part 1 video above, donโ€™t forget to check out our Part 2 video on YouTube where these same cocktails are used in a game. In this game our favorite bartenders, Sean and Brenda are blind folded and have to guess correctly the names of the cocktail. Otherwise, the loser will take a shot of liquor. Letโ€™s see how well they know their cocktails.
