Who is ready for Valentine’s Day! Since it is right around the corner, we crafted two deliciously refreshing cocktails that are perfect for the Valentineโs theme. Valentine’s Day is all about sweet goodies, and everything colored pink and red. They are super easy to make with very simple ingredients so you can make them right at home with no hassles.
These two cocktails are perfect for a valentines day sleepover with your girlfriends, or to have on a date night with your significant other. However you choose to celebrate Valentineโs Day, we hope you get to try these special edition cocktails, and let us know how they turned out for you!ย
Seรฑorita Cocktail
Our version of the sweet and refreshing Seรฑorita cocktail will not let you down. It is so pretty to look at, and flavorful. It is a mixture of sweet, and citrus for those who love a refreshing cocktail. If you are a fan of margaritas then you will find the ingredients quite similar. However with a twist of pink lemonade achieved with fresh lemon juice, and homemade strawberry syrup. Everything homemade just tastes so much better! The strawberry syrup gives this beverage that beautiful pink color which makes it just perfect for Valentineโs Day!
Seรฑorita Cocktail
Ingredients:
Tequila 1 oz
Triple sec ยฝ oz
Strawberry Syrup 1 oz (Ingredients and directions are below)
Fresh Lemon (half squeezed)
Salted rim
Directions:
(Optional) Prepare your glass with a salt rim.
After, grab your favorite shaker. Add all the ingredients and a few ice cubes into your shaker. Shake and then strain into your preferred glass with some ice. Garnish with a strawberry and lemon wheels.ย
Strawberry Daiquiri
Daiquiris are one of the most deliciously simplest cocktails there is. While only consisting of 3 main ingredients to make. Main ingredients: silver rum, simple syrup, and lime juice. We made a slight twist in the ingredients by substituting the simple syrup with our homemade strawberry syrup. This strawberry syrup is what gives this special cocktail its pinkish color, and strawberry flavor. While this beverage is often seen blended, we decided to make it martini style for a more classy look for the night.
Strawberry Daiquiri
Ingredients:ย
Rum 1 oz
Strawberry Syrup 1 oz (Ingredients and directions are below)
Fresh Lime (half squeezed)
Directions:
Grab your cocktail shaker, and add all ingredients. Add some ice into your shaker and shake. Strain your cocktail into your glass. Ice is optionional. We made it martini style without ice.ย
Lastly, garnish with a sweet strawberry.
Homemade Strawberry Syrup
Our homemade strawberry syrup is extremely easy to make. The best part is that this syrup can be used on anything you want. You do not have to limit yourself on only using it for cocktails. Notably, this syrup can be useful on pancakes, crepes, icecream, and many other desserts that you would want to give a strawberry flavor to.ย
Ingredients:
Water 1 cup
Sugar ยฝ cup
Fresh Strawberries (handful)
Directions:
In a small pot, or saucepan add your water, sugar, and strawberries. Do not let it boil, but instead, let it heat up until you see signs of boiling. Then turn off the heat. Let it cool down. After, pour into a blender and blend until smooth. Strain the seeds out of the syrup and then pour into a squeeze bottle. Your strawberry syrup is ready!
