We have five Martini recipes ready for you to try. Martinis are known to be strong cocktails. In fact, If you think about it, it is basically a chilled, straight up liquor. Do you know how easy it is to make them? I promise you, it is super simple. Surely, If you make them yourself, you will feel yourself as a martini master after you’re done!  

For all the cocktails below the same directions apply.

First, grab your shaker, add some ice, add the ingredients and shake until your drink becomes chilled. Strain your cocktail into your prepared glass. To sum up, add your garnish and enjoy!

The Lemon Drop sounds like it will taste sour, but it’s actually not all that sour. Although, it has strong citrus notes, it has an even stronger sweetness to it coming from the orange liquor. In addition, if your Lemon Drop martini is prepared with a sugar rim, the sugar rim enhances more sweetness in this cocktail. Fun fact, this cocktail is commonly consumed as a shooter called lemon drop shots. 

  • 1oz of vodka
  • ½ oz of triple sec
  • 1 oz of lime juice 
  • 1 teaspoon of Sugar 
  • *Sugar rim on glass
  • Lime peel garnish

Sidecar

The Sidecar has a strong fruity blend coming from the cognac, and some citrus notes from the triple sec (orange liquor), paired with the sugar rim it enhances the sweetness of the fruity flavors in this cocktail. The flavors of sweet n sour added to this cocktail will make your mouth water. 

  • 1 oz of cognac (We used Hennessy)
  • ½ oz of triple sec
  • Splash of sweet n sour 
  • *Sugar rim on glass
  • Lemon peel garnish

Cosmopolitan

Cosmopolitan Martini

The Cosmopolitan is a beautiful captivating cocktail because of its unique color. The cranberry juice is what gives this cocktail its pink/purplish hue. It has a dominating citrus and tart flavors due to orange, lime, and cranberry mixture. This cocktail makes a very light and breezy beverage. 

  • 1 oz of vodka
  • ½ oz of triple sec
  • Splash of lime juice
  • Splash of cranberry juice 
  • Orange peel garnish

Appletini

Apple Martini

The Apple Martini is probably the most sour martini on this list. It is a fun vibrant, neon green color caused by the Green Sour Apple liqueur. This particular liquor will over power the vodka and give it a more apple, and citrus flavors hence the name. The splash of sour mix enhances the citrus blends. Definitely, this martini is well deserved of its name.

  • 1 oz of vodka
  • 1 oz of green sour apple
  • Splash of sour mix
  • Cherry garnish

Perfect Manhattan

The Perfect Manhattan is a battle of sweet and dry flavors. It is smooth to drink and filled with aromas. First you will be able to taste the sweetness of the whiskey and enhanced by the sweet vermouth. In addition, once it is swallowed you will then taste the dry aromatic flavors of the dry vermouth making it a Perfect Manhattan. 

  • 1 oz of whisky (We used Jack Daniels)
  • ½ oz of sweet vermouth
  • ½ oz of dry vermouth 
  • Cherry garnish
